Claritas demographic estimates are primarily based on U.S. Census and American Community Survey (ACS) data.
Claritas uses proprietary formulas and methodologies to calculate estimates for the current calendar year and five-year projections for every data release updated yearly.
Claritas warns to not compare estimates between their yearly releases due to changing methodologies and input data used between each data release.
Central Oregon is made up of Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, Northern Klamath counties, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
Northern Klamath County is made up of: zip codes 97731 (includes Chemult and surrounding areas south), 97733 (includes Gilcrest, Crescent, and surrounding areas west and south) and 97737 (the area south of La Pine and north of Gilcrest).
